My second meeting was with Lindy Crawford. I would describe Lindy ad Mama Bear. It is ironic that she is City Manager of White Bear Lake. She is fierce in defending, leading, and building our city. I like Lindy.

I asked Lindy why she chose city management as a career. She said her dad suggested she check it out. I have a soft spot for daughters that listen to their fathers. Part of my motivation to run for Mayor is in honor of my father.

Lindy is smart, experienced and tough. She is also protective of her people. This is a sign of a good leader. We are lucky to have Lindy.
